We are lucky to live in an area with such a rich spectrum of art by local artists. As the 15 year old Art at the Source goes into its second & final weekend, the Sonoma County Gallery Group (SCGG) is rolling out its annual map update of Sonoma County galleries. Visionary & hard working artists like Khysie Horn of Quick Silver Mine Co. and Heidi Schmidt of Hand Goods have brought together 54 galleries, 9 art associations and 6 sponsors to produce a comprehensive gallery map of the county. This allows art lovers to find the art in the county, even when there is no open studio tour. My hat’s off to the board of the SCGG for not only having the vision, but for making the dream come true!
