A message from the Boomerand Gallery:

Hello everyone,

This last year has been a painful, difficult and disasterous time for us on a personal level. The last eight years have been a painful, difficult and disasterous time for our whole country. We are involved in two wars thousands of miles away that seem to have very little to do with our day to day lives in this country. Our economy seems to be in an incredible struggle for its very existence and the planet that nurtures us all is being challenged to the utmost by the pressures of increasing population and unwise and greedy choices by governments and multi-national corporations who don’t really seem to have all of our best interests in mind.

A pretty horrifying scenario, eh? *But*, collectively, we as americans have taken the bull by the horns and have chased the proverbial moneychangers out of the temple. We have done the unthinkable by electing a young, progressive man of mixed race to lead us out of this morass. This young man has, for the moment, given us a “new hope” and
it is our charge as artists to visualize where this is going to take us.

Announcing “A New Hope”, a group show at Boomerang Gallery. The show will run from February 20th until March 18th. Please join us for an artists reception Saturday February 20th from 6 until 8 PM to toast and celebrate our collective “new hope”.

Boomerang Gallery/Heebejeebe is located at 46 Kentucky St in Petaluma.
