CRITERIA FOR Petaluma Arts Association (PAA)
LIBRARY SHOW – FEBRUARY 25- MARCH 13 2009
(PARTICIPANT INFORMATION)
1. This is not a juried show. All pieces must be suitable for viewing by all ages. At the discretion of the committee. A piece may be rejected.
2. All participating artists must be a PAA member with dues paid for 2009.
3. Artists must be a docent at the show for a minimum of 2 hours.
4. Art pieces:
a) 2-D art work is limited to two pieces per artist. 2-D art work cannot be larger than 28″ X 28″. If larger, artists must provide an easel to display the art work. (Note: All pieces
must be framed or sides painted. Backs must be wired for
hanging.)
b) 3-D art work is unlimited.
5. Art pieces will be received on Wednesday, Feb 25th between 6 pm and 7 pm and Thursday, February 26th between 12 noon and 1:30 pm at the Helen Putnam Community Room of the Petaluma Regional Branch of the Sonoma County Library, 100 Fairgrounds Drive, Petaluma, CA.
6. Please complete the form which is available on PAA website:
petalumaarts.org , or at check-in.
7. All art must be picked up on Friday March 13th between 1 pm and 2:30 pm. (If unable to pick up art work please arrange to have it picked up.)
8. Any sold art work must remain in the show until the show ends. Please request the purchaser to arrange to pickup on Friday March 13th between 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm.
