Petaluma Arts Council (PAC) update

President’s Message
Dear Friends and Supporters,
I write this month with great excitement, enthusiasm and optimism. The ink is dry on the contract with Midstate Construction for our tenant improvements for the Arts Center, which should be a construction zone by next week. Our Grand Opening is scheduled for September 20 and 21 (see below). AND, one and all, welcome our very first full-time Executive Director, Michael Fontaine, about whom you will read more below. I/we could not be more excited about bringing Michael onto our team. Aside from his experience and expertise, he is fitting right in to the culture of the Petaluma Arts Council, like a match made in heaven. Welcome Michael!
So, enjoy the summer, watch you tomatoes grow, and bless us all who get to live in this glorious part of the world.
Peace,
Murray Rockowitz
President, Petaluma Arts Council
Introducing-Our New Executive Director
The Petaluma Arts Council is very pleased to introduce our first full-time Executive Director, Michael Fontaine. Michael is working with interim Executive Director, Alison Marks, to smoothly transition into administering the programs and day-to-day operations of the Arts Council, as well as prepare for the upcoming Arts Center opening. Over the coming months, we look forward to providing many opportunities for you to meet and talk with Michael, a very welcomed addition to our growing organization.
Arts Center Opening Events
Save the dates! Come celebrate the Grand Opening of the new Petaluma Arts Center on September 20 and 21, at the corner of “D” and Lakeville Streets (next to the Petaluma Visitor’s Center).
