Pelican Art Gallery has a special show for our first anniversary in our downtown location and this holiday season. The show, “LA to Abstracts: Spectrum of Art” truly spans a wide variety of art medium, style and budget.

This show includes something for everyone! Our abstracts are creations from Kathryn Graham Wilson, owner of Cats & Dragons Art Studio. Kathryn’s abstract paintings are so full of life and color. We anchored the show with Kathryn’s art and the playful southern California paintings of Terrence Howell. Howell presents light retro paintings with flamingos, swimming pools and the atmosphere of a lazy summer afternoon in the Los Angeles area. The other artists include stunningly beautiful gourds by Peggy Palletti (German artist), one-of a kind fleeced scarves by Muriel Knapp, soft pastel landscapes by Ann Bernauer, exquisite orchid paintings by MaryAnn Nardo, a special still life treat by Sachal, peaceful floral and Sonoma hills landscapes by Jill Keller-Peters. digitally enhanced photos by Peter Fronk, black & white photography by Stephen Palmer, a powerful lime stone sculpture by Elmer Kurtek, the spectacular earrings by Denise Ward and special holiday season pendants by Ellaine Kendell.

The artists will also be available during the Downtown Open House on December 1st from 1 – 4 pm and from 5 – 8 pm during the Holiday Art Walk on Friday, December 14th. Pelican Art Gallery is located at 143 Petaluma Blvd North, next to Della Fattoria, just north of Putnam Plaza. Hours are Tues – Thurs 10am -6pm, Fri 10am – 8pm and Sat/Sun 11am – 5pm.
