One of the reasons we love Petaluma is the people are so fun & friendly. Today, while buttoning up a bunch of framing orders for the holidays we had a visit from Lisa, Pam and Amelia. They were out & about spreading Christmas cookie cheer.

One of the things that we do at Pelican Art is provide the USO the technology behind Operation Mail Call. The techology allows our troops, from anywhere in the world, send a greeting card in the US Mail. A soldier had sent a card and needed help, so he called the help line (my cell phone) to add a special note.

There are over 140 artists represented at the Member Show currently at the Petaluma Arts Center. We are so lucky to have this new art center, it’s such a great gift for our community. I’m so excited that the Petaluma Downtown Association (PDA) decided to extend the Holiday Open House to a 2-day event. There will be horse & carriage rides, live music in Putnam Plaza by the Phoenix Jazz band and Tom Cordoni’s Red Suspender Band.
