I already posted about the Art Walk tomorrow night (11/13 5 -8pm).
This weekend also presents a couple other happenings to mark on your calendar. On Saturday, 11/14, the artist reception for the new show up at the Riverfront Art Gallery will be held from 5-9pm.

We finally made it out to Tolay Park yesterday. Several months ago Donna had taken the necessary class to be authorized entry to the park. Yesterday, Sunday 11/8, was the perfect day to mount up on our mountain bikes and head south on Lakeville to the park. The climb from Lakeville up above Keller Estates Winery was a great warm up for the challenges of the beautiful trails at Tolay. …

Last Thursday, Old Adobe School District Superintendent, Diane ZImmerman, hosted a “Toast for Change” at the Mystic Theater introducing the Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) that are now being deployed in her school district. It was an amazing evening with many of the gallery owners, educators and community members engaged in this method of teaching critical thinking using art.
