A Toast For Change: Visual Thinking Strategies

Last Thursday, Old Adobe School District Superintendent, Diane ZImmerman, hosted a “Toast for Change” at the Mystic Theater introducing the Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) that are now being deployed in her school district. Gallery One opens New Show

The new show at Gallery One is an interesting duo of artists: Hella Merrill & Olga Storms. I’ve always loved the work that Hella Merrill does with en caustic on metal. Her art is calming with earth tones and subtle dynamics of the interplay of texture, shape & color.
